Job Description:
Create awareness, and/or other important metrics
(examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.)
around topics related to advertising, marketing, mobile technology
and more.
Blog on an ongoing basis in support of your other
projects and to attract site visitors through search, social, and our
email subscribers.
Work with designers, marketing, sales, and external influencers
plus industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the
needs of our audience and industry thought leaders.
Convince others that your ideas are worth investing time and effort in.
This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on
your work every single day.
Job Requirements:
Writing original content including news, features, opinion,
data/infographic led stories etc.
Aggregating, accurate and re-purposing interesting content
from secondary sources.
Ability to research in depth on a topic and ability to write
blogs with an inviting opening, detailed information in body and
a thoughtful ending.
Must have excellent research skills, and must be able to
organize ideas and translate technical terms into text that can be
understood at all levels.
Excellent writing and grammatical skills with ability to
write quickly, concisely, and accurately.
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment and
willingness to learn new things and styles.
Ability to write compelling content on various topics.
Desired Profile:
A proactive approach: Your highly creative and an
excellent writer but can also be process-driven and think of scale.
Data savvy-ness, you should be the one who rely on data to make
any decision.
Strong willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
Applicants from journalism and marketing backgrounds
will be preferred.
Technological background will help with little any chiefly basic
understanding on Mobile Technology, Salesforce, Java, .Net etc.
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and elaborate documents,
contents, materials, images from various sources.
Good written English - style/flair is useful; grammar are essential.
Web-savvy is critical - having your own blog a bonus.
Writing samples will get more weightage than marks and experience.
