SW Karnataka Prize Money Application

Online applications are invited for Prize Money for first attempt first class SC/ST students for year 2018-19.

Who Can Apply?

Students belonging to the Scheduled Castes who have passed PU and degree examinations in first class for the first time in 2018 can apply for the Prize Money.

** The student must belong to SC / ST community
** He / she should secure I class in I attempt, in S.S.L.C. / P.U.C./ Degree/ P.G./ Professional courses.
** He / she should be the student of a recognized institution.
** There is no income limit for sanction of prize money.

Prize Money Offered

The rate of prize money awarded to the students in various courses are as follows.

II PUC,3 Years Polytechnic Diploma	Rs.	20000.00
Degree	Rs.	25000.00
Any Post-Graduate courses like M.A., M.Sc.,etc.	Rs.	30000.00
Agriculture, Engineering, Veterinary, Medicine	Rs.	35000.00

Explanatory Note : Minimum OGPA is 6.00 for a PASS

How To Apply?

Applications will have to be submitted online by logging on to www.sw.kar.nic.in.

New Application

Just follow the simple steps to apply for Prize Money online.

Step-1: Go to the following link [http://web5.kar.nic.in/swprizemoney/]
Step-2: Click on the “Online Application (Passed in 2018 only)” link.

Step-3: The following page will appear. Follow the steps
** Enter your Aadhaar Number and Name (As in Aadhaar) in the space provided
** Select your Gender (Male/ Female/ Transgender)
** Solve the simple addition just for verification (i.e 1+10=11)
** Check/Tick the ‘Declaration’ box (I hereby give my consent to Social Welfare Department,……….)
** Finally hit the ‘Proceed’ button.

Reprint Application

Follow the below steps to re-download the Acknowledgement.

Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the following link [http://web5.kar.nic.in/swprizemoney/WebPages/ReprintAcknowledgement.aspx]
Step-2 : Select your course completion year from the drop down list.
Step-3 : Enter your Registration Number in the space provided.
Step-4 : Enter your Date of Birth in the format (DD/MM/YYYY)
Step-5: Hit the ‘Download’ button.

Edit Application

To edit your filled application, follow below steps

Steps:
Step-1: Go to the link [http://web5.kar.nic.in/swprizemoney/WebPages/EditProcessPage.aspx]
Step-2 : Select your course completion year from the drop down list.
Step-3 : Enter your Registration Number in the space provided.
Step-4 : Enter your Date of Birth in the format (DD/MM/YYYY)
Step-5 : Select your college type (CBSE/ Karnataka/ Other State)
Step-6: Press the ‘Go’ button.

College/University List

Go to the link [http://web5.kar.nic.in/swprizemoney/WebPages/UniversityList.aspx] to view the College/University List.

Register Your College

If Your College are not Listed in Online Application Please Visit District Social/Tribal Welfare Office for Adding the College in Prizemoney Website

Application Status

To know your application status, kindly follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps:
Step-1 : Go to the status page [http://web5.kar.nic.in/swprizemoney/WebPages/ApplicationStatus.aspx]
Step-2 : The following page will appear. You have two options. Select anyone of the option [Applicant Number Wise (or) CollegeWise].

Step-2A : If your option is ‘Applicant Number Wise’ then enter your Applicant Number in the space provided and hit the ‘View’ button

Step-2B : If your option is ‘College Wise’, then do the below steps and hit the ‘View’ button
** Select your course completion year from the drop down list.
** Select your District
** Select your Taluk
** Select your College.

Application Last Date

The last date for submission of online applications for Post-Matric courses shall be 30-08-2018. No further extension.
