Now the Pre-matric and Post-matric scholarship disbursement shall be done through state scholarship portal, Govt. of Karnataka. Pre Matric Scholarship is Released in State Scholarship Portal.

How to Apply?
To apply for the scholarship in State Scholarship portal, first you need to Create an Account. Just follow the below steps to create an account.
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of State Scholarship portal provided above.
Step 2 : Next, Click on the “Create Account” link in the menu.

Step 3 : If you are Studying between classes 1 to 10, then select Prematric else select Postmatric.
Step 4 : Then Enter Student SATS ID and click on “Get Data” button

Step 5 : Fill the remaining details to get your user id and password.
Step 6 : After successful registration you will receive a confirmation message to your registered email id or mobile number.

Step 8 : Select the scholarship scheme and fill the further details to complete the scholarship application form.

The scholarship at pre-matric level will encourage parents from minority communities to send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education.

Post-matric Scholarship Scheme :
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.
